Our prayers of mental , physical & spiritual healing goes out to the ( 9 ) people injured ,as well as, all Barrow County involved at the school in some form.
On Wednesday Morning, 9/04/2024 at a School called Apalachee High School located near Winder Georgia in the county of Barrow, the death of 4 people occurred with 9 other people injured. Perhaps, this Tragedy will be forgotten by many people. But not by the Students, Teachers, Faculty, Staff, Parents and Families of Barrow County, Georgia.
According to National Institute of Mental Health, it is natural to feel afraid during and after a traumatic situation.
Fear is a part of the body’s “fight-or-flight” response, which helps us
avoid or respond to potential danger. People may experience a range of
reactions after trauma, and most will recover from their symptoms over
time. Those who continue to experience symptoms may be diagnosed with
post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
