My late Father said, " It is good in Life to get lost with the knowledge of direction, fore, once you have found oneself, perhaps, you could never become lost in an unfamiliar place. " History may have recognize the Game of Chess in at least (3) three places. Thus, we will keep this discussion simple while encouraging you the reader to perform research.
1) Legend has it that chess was invented around 200 B. C. by a commander, Hán Xin.
2) In the 7th century, the Chinese's Chess was invented by the mythical Emperor Shennong or by his successor, Huangdi.
3) The history of chess can be traced back nearly 1,500 years to its earliest known predecessor, called Chaturanga.
However, today we will briefly discuss the development of Strategy regarding Chess. Strategy defined here is quite simply ' a plan to take action '.
This unique game is played by two opponents against each other.
On the chess board of 32 pieces & 64 squares , there are 8 pieces (1 king, 1 queen, 2 bishops, 2 knights, 2 rooks ) and 8 pawns. They all play unique roles.
Over the years, decades and centuries; rules on how to play the game changed. Today, there is a standard approach or guideline on how to play.
Each character mentioned above moves a certain way and is restricted from moving a certain way.
Behaviorism is a systematic approach to understanding the behavior of humans and other animals.
Now, let us add Artificial Intelligence or AI.
If you study how certain pieces are played on the chess board and the typical ways your opponent plays the tournament after you have won or lost a game; perhaps, you will learn to build a strategy of similar form in life.
Remember, Strategy is ' a plan to take action '.
